Starting with 1 clinic in 2021, we have grown to 6 clinics and continue to engage with premier dermatology and skin cancer practice owners, who are looking to return to a pure clinical role, or are considering their legacy plans for their clinic and patients. We will support the clinic to continue quality service operations, whilst you can return to a sole clinical care role.

In-person introduction

Relationships are at the core of what we do. An in-person meeting with the clinic principal and our Aura team is an important first step in determining if Aura Medical Group and your clinic are compatible.

Market valuation

Sharing high-level information about your clinic will help to determine an appropriate market valuation. If this is agreed upon, we will execute a Term Sheet containing all the key terms we will proceed with.

Due diligence

A financial and legal due diligence process will take place. This typically takes two to four weeks.

Partnership planning

Before settlement, we will prepare a detailed action plan to ensure the transition is as smooth as possible. This includes communications with your team and the division of business administration responsibilities.

Following the settlement, we will work with you to develop a strategy to integrate your clinic into the Aura Medical Group network. We will look at removing administrative burdens and centralising the support services functions.

Ongoing partnership support

As part of our partnership, we will provide ongoing support in areas of marketing, human resources, administration, payroll finance, staff clinical development, procurement and product services.

FAQs

While we will oversee the strategic, financial and centralised support matters of your clinic, we believe in local management. Although the clinic staff will move to Aura Medical Group employees, the day-to-day operation of the clinic will remain with the Practice Manager, with the ongoing support, guidance and advice of the Aura Medical Group support service function.

After the settlement is complete, Aura Medical Group will charge facility service fees as per a Facility Services Agreement, which will be discussed and signed prior to the settlement. These Agreements are commonplace, and our service fees are competitive in the market.

The process from initial introduction to Aura Medical Group to financial settlement typically takes between 10 to 12 weeks.

As practising principal, you will continue your clinical and everyday operational undertakings. Your business activities and responsibilities will be managed by us.

Your brand name holds value in your community and familiarity is important to you, your clinic team, your existing patients and to Aura Medical Group. We do not intend to rebrand clinics, unless it is something that you and the clinic team feel necessary.

The intention would be to retain all current staff and practitioners within the clinic. Their employment and service agreement contracts would be reviewed to ensure legislative and Award compliance, and their existing employment terms and rates will transition to Aura Medical Group under reissued agreements.
